On behalf of the Inauguration Committee, we ask that you please review the parking guidelines listed below. We deeply appreciate your cooperation for this very special event in the life of Millsaps College.
Platform Party/Presidential guests/Board of Trustees will park in Whitworth/Sanders circle lot.
Alumni and School Delegates will enter via Park Street and park in the AC lot.
Handicapped guests will enter via Riverside Drive and park in upper HAC lot (shuttle provided from lot to Bowl).
All other visitors will enter via Riverside Drive and will park in HAC lot (as available); along Wendy's Lane; in grass areas behind Cabot Lodge (shuttle provided from lot to Bowl).
Visitors can also enter via South gate and park along Christian Center and Murrah Hall.
Staff are being asked to enter campus via the Maintenance gate on West Street or South gate on Webster Street and park in either the gravel lot just west of the English House or in spaces in front of Murrah Hall and the Christian Center. Also, there will be a limited amount of spaces along the 3rd base line by the baseball field, accessed via the North gate (we expect these to be filled early and quickly!)
Faculty are asked to park along Faculty Row (behind the Christian Center and Reuben's); in the Christian Center gravel driveway; or in front of Murrah Hall and Christian Center.
Students are asked to park in their respective zones. Commuter students are asked to park alongside Murrah Hall and Christian Center. ALSO, it will help immensely if Southside students move their cars to the southernmost lots and the lower New South lot, and if Northside students move cars to the lower Bacot/Sanderson lot.
