Dr. Robert Alexander
Dr. Robert Alexander serves as Vice President for Enrollment and Communications at Millsaps College. He coordinates strategic plans for college enrollment and defines direction, priorities, and strategy for the offices of admission, student financial aid, and communications and marketing.
Before moving to Millsaps, Dr. Alexander served as Associate Provost for Enrollment at University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, and as Assistant Vice President for Enrollment Management and Adjunct Professor of Business at Tulane University in New Orleans, LA.
Dr. Alexander earned his bachelor's degree in psychology from Tulane University and an MBA in marketing and management from Tulane's A.B. Freeman School of Business, and later received his doctorate from the University of Pennsylvania, conducting dissertation research focused on higher education leadership and governance.

Dr. Alexander lives in Jackson with his wife, Andrea, a registered nurse, and their Great Dane, Duke. The Alexanders enjoy sampling global cuisine and traveling to new destinations, most recently visiting Millsaps' amazing facilities and programs in the Yucatán.
