2007: Appeared in four of the Majors’ 10 games as a true freshman... recorded his first career tackle against BSC on Nov. 10 in the home finale... also rushed three times for five yards and caught one pass at Louisiana College on Sept. 8.

High School: A four-sport athlete at District 9-1A Northlake Christian High School... lettered four years in football at defensive back/running back under head coach Mark "Smiley" Robert... was tabbed the Athlete of the Year and received the Wolverine Award... also played baseball, basketball and ran track... earned the Coach's Award on the hardwood.

Personal: Son of Tammie Groover... born and raised in Covington, La... has a twin sister, Chassidy (19)... his relatives, B.J. Sams, Fred Booker, Marty Booker and Fred Weary all play/played in the NFL... majoring in business.
