2006: Played in one game as a true freshman for the SCAC Champion Majors on the O-Line.

High School: A three-year letterman in football on the offensive line for head coach Frank Jabbia at District 5-5A Northshore High School... also a two-year letterman in powerlifting in the 275 and SHW where he was a two-time state runner-up... notched a 5th place finish in SHW at the 2006 state powerlifting meet... a two-time all-district honorable mention... also played baseball.

Personal: Son of John and Cay Gunther... born in Westwego and raised in Slidell, La... has a younger sister, Grace (17)... a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity... majoring in business administration.
