and returned it 36 yards against BSC in the home finale... ranked second

15 tackles (11 in the first half) in Millsaps’ loss at Carnegie
Mellon in the first round of the NCAA Playoffs... recorded five or more
tackles in 7 of 11 games... set a career-high and tied a Millsaps single-game
high with three INTs at Sewanee on Oct. 28 to earn D3football.com and
SCAC Weekly honors... blocked his second career kick against Huntingdon
College in addition to nine tackles... also returned two kicks for 21
yards and three punts for 21 yards.
2005: Played
and started in all nine of the Majors’ games, ranking
sixth on the team in total tackles with 40 as a true freshman... ranked
third on the team in solo tackles with 28... picked off three passes
for 5 yards, recovered two fumbles and had five pass breakups... recorded
his first career INT in his first game played... forced one fumble and
picked up his first career blocked kick in a win against Concordia-Selma
in the Majors’ season-opener ... returned two kicks for 19 yards
and two punts for 17 yards... had a season-high nine tackles in a loss
to Sewanee on Oct. 29 and also scored his first points on defense,
returning a fumble at the goaline for a score.

School: A three-year letterman in football at cornerback
for head coach Alonzo Stevens at 5A Vicksburg High School... recorded
40 tackles, 15 pass breakups and four INTs his junior year, followed
by 45 tackles, 17 pass breakups and four picks as a senior... received
the most improved defensive back award as a junior and best defensive
back award as a senior... an all-area selection in 2004 and 2005...
team won a pair of district titles his sophomore and junior seasons.
