Millsaps College is a Methodist affiliated, Division III institution striving towards national prominence through both athletics and academics. The Millsaps volleyball coaching staff is in the process of identifying student-athletes that are serious about playing at the collegiate level. Above all, we are interested in identifying student-athletes who can succeed in both the volleyball and academic programs at Millsaps College.

Since 1996, Millsaps Volleyball has had eight seasons with 20-plus wins, and has produced 26 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference players. For three of these seasons Millsaps Volleyball was ranked nationally in the NCAA South Region. As these achievements demonstrate, our volleyball program is training at an elite level, aggressively pursuing Division III conference and national championships with a Division I philosophy.

Academically, Millsaps College has been recognized at a national level. U.S. News and World Report and The Princeton Review’s The Best 361 Colleges both cite Millsaps as one of the top liberal arts colleges in the nation.

Hall Earns All-SCAC Third Team Honors, First Major Chosen Since 2005

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – After a stellar sophomore campaign, Millsaps outside hitter Kate Hall (pictured right) has been named to the 2008 All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Third Team, the first Major since 2005 to have their name appear on the list.

"Kate definitely deserves the recognition," second-year head coach Jaime Burns said. "In my opinion I think she deserves to be on the first or second team, but that's something she can work towards the next two years."
