Work hard, play hard ... Will you take the Challenge?
Challenge was created to help incoming students adjust to the college life while participating in and learning about the great community service for which Millsaps College is known. This week-long event allows new students to meet and form relationships with current students and their new classmates who share a passion for service and fun.
Challenge 2009: July 6 - 10, 2009

$50 fee covers meals and t-shirt

There is no greater reward than giving, and there's nothing quite like a little sweat and dirt to bring you closer to your class. Contact Jesse Crow or Meghan Giurintano for more information.
Why should you come?
- Find out great ways to serve in the Jackson community
- Get to know the Millsaps campus before move-in day
- Experience life in the dorms
- Make lasting friendships with future classmates
What to expect?
During the day, we will work at a variety of service organizations and sites around Jackson, such as:
- Habitat for Humanity: an organization that helps families build homes
- Operation Shoestring: just see if you can keep up with this group of grade-schoolers!
- Mustard Seed: facility for adults with special needs — play board games, foosball, or paint some pottery.
