is the North Security Gate located near North State Street and Riverside
Drive (see map). This entrance leads to parking near the Hall Activities
Center.
Parking: Handicapped parking
for those with handicapped stickers is available in the parking
lot beside the Hall Activities Center. If you need to drop off a
disabled guest prior to parking in another area, please tell the
security officer, and he or she will assist you.
Accessibility: The Millsaps
Commencement is an outdoor event held in the Millsaps Bowl in the
center of campus, next to the A. Boyd Campbell College Center. The
route from the Hall Activities Center parking area to the Bowl and
to the College Center is fully accessible by wheelchair. The distance
is 50-60 yards.
Seating: A limited number of

Boyd Campbell College Center, under the shade of the Millsaps "potted
oak," for those needing special assistance. Family members
may sit near them, as space allows.
Outdoor Ceremony: We remind
you to dress comfortably and suggest that you bring water for anyone
who may not be able to move around easily. The lobby of the College
Center will be open if your family member needs to move inside to
the air conditioning. Please feel free to call on the student ushers
for assistance.
Refreshments: Coffee, soft drinks,
and water will be available for purchase at the Kava House, located
