Guide to Online Style This site addresses common questions
about citing online sources, from the in-text notations to
the works cited page. Although the language is complicated,
examples offered at the end of the explanations make the page
more useful. Students may actually find this cite more useful
than the Hacker guide because of the wide variety of topics
that it covers.
- Evaluating
Internet Sites I found this site somewhat more difficult
to navigate than the "milton" site. It does, however, offer
different types of information, addressing the evaluation
of books and periodical articles as well. Evaluations of accuracy,
authority, objectivity, currency, coverage and resources of
Internet sites are offered. Links to two different web sites
(one good, one bad) are found at the end of each section so
students can do some "comparison shopping."
