rich opportunities for students to put their commitments and knowledge
into concrete action. Whether partnering with a local non-profit
agency to complete a class assignment or being mentored in an internship
by a leading professional in thier field of interest, Millsaps students
practice the art of integrating passion with compassion.
Lilly

Offering a unique way to put heart and head into action, Lilly Internships
pair Millsaps students with successful professionals in their field

One of the hallmarks of the Lilly Internship program is a mentor
who is willing to not only provide valuable work experience, but
to also spend some time talking about the role a particular profession
plays in forming a meaningful life. If you are interested in serving
as a mentor, more information is available.
Learning
to Serve, Serving to Learn
This program integrates service experiences into academic courses
throughout the College as a way of enhancing the learning goals
of students and responding to community needs.
Making
Connections
This program connects the time and talent of students in the Else
School of Management at Millsaps College to specific needs of
non-profit agencies in the Jackson area. Whether creating a marketing
plan for the Jackson Zoo or a strategic plan for a local community
center, students sharpen their business knowledge and skills while
