Millsaps College Junior Awarded Prestigious Truman Scholarship

Noah Barbieri, a junior at Millsaps College, has been selected as a Truman Scholar. He is scheduled to graduate from Millsaps in May 2018. He is only the second Millsaps student in the history of the College, and one of only 62 students in the nation this year, to be named a Truman Scholar.

The 2017 rankings were released today. Millsaps is the only Mississippi school included in the latest rankings set.

Millsaps Senior Presents Research at National Meeting

Ty Patterson discovered as a Millsaps College student his interest in solving scientific problems. He will continue that interest after he graduates in May at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md., where he has accepted a two-year postbaccalaureate research fellowship.
