Millsaps Student Awarded Sipes Foundation Scholarship

Brad Winton, a senior majoring in geology at Millsaps College, is one of three students to receive a $2,000 Earth Science Scholarship from the Society of Independent Professional Earth Scientists Foundation. Winton is the son of Denise Burns of Wylie.

The SIPES Foundation awards scholarship to promising upper-division or graduate earth science students who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
