See how the rest of this story develops when transatlantic performance group German Theater Abroad’s Road Theater USA presents Roland Schimmelpfennig’s “Start Up” at Millsaps College on Saturday, Nov. 3, at 7:30 p.m. The performance will take place in the atrium of New South dormitory and is open to the public. Since 1996, GTA has produced theater festivals, productions and staged readings on both sides of the Atlantic. Though dedicated to constantly developing new theatrical forms, all GTA work is defined by three principles: contemporary drama, international teams and discussion with the audience. Five actors—three German and two from the United States—along with two Austrian video artists and the rest of the GTA team, are currently touring the country from New York City to Los Angeles to present “Start Up.”
