The annual Wideman Competition of Shreveport has a long and distinguished history of choosing young artists who have gone on to international careers, including Stanislav Ioudenitch who later captured the Gold Medal at the Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Other winners include Alon Goldstein, Esther Park, Tatiana Tessman, Yoonjung Han, Janice Fehlauer and Stanislav Khristenko. Don’t miss this season’s winner (announced in January)!
