

Akanksha Gupta, Religious Studies Major, interned
as Religion columnist for Jackson's Planet Weekly in 2003.
She says: "It (the internship) has helped me
to bring the academic understanding of religion to the doorstep
of the practitioner and understand the immensely complicated (and
rich) category of religion by translating it into practical terms.
Also, it has enabled me to act as a cultural bridge in our community
by giving me a platform to write about diverse religions."
Students who major or minor in Religious Studies, as well as those
earning a Concentration in Christian Education, have a myriad of
