Traffic Citation Appeal Form

NOTE: RIGHT OF APPEAL IS FORFEITED IF NOT MADE WITHIN 14 DAYS OF ISSUE

PROCEDURE:

1. Fill out appeal form.

2. Your citation has already been charged to your account.

3. Contact your SBA Student Safety Committee Chair to obtain your traffic hearing date.

4.    The Committee will rule.
         If the case is decided in your favor, the Business Office will be notified in writing (by Lt. Sullivan of the
         Millsaps Campus Safety Department) and the traffic fine for this citation will be removed from your account.
         If the verdict is not in your favor, the charge stands. This is not a cash transaction, and no refunds are given.

If there are scheduling conflicts, you must tell your contact person at least one day
in advance of your appeal hearing. Otherwise, persons who do not show up for the
hearing will automatically forfeit right of appeal.
