Being a member of a fraternity or sorority is not just about socializing. It is about service, leadership, scholarship, ritual and friendship...It is a lifetime commitment to live the values of one's organization.
Millsaps fraternity and sorority life is a thriving mix of social, academic, and service-oriented activities. There are six fraternity and six sorority chapters at Millsaps. The chapters are all members of well-established national/international Greek-letter organizations. Policies governing fraternity and sorority life are formulated through the Panhellenic Council, Interfraternity Council, and National Pan-Hellenic Council.

Recruitment
Membership in a fraternity or sorority is through a mutual selection process, known as recruitment or rush. Participating in recruitment provides an excellent opportunity to meet people and learn more about the Greek community but in no way requires you to join a chapter.
