Service is a fundamental component of the Millsaps College mission. Millsaps students, faculty and staff all contribute to a vibrant culture of community engagement, with the 1 Campus, 1 Community Center as the College's "hub" for community service.

Millsaps Named to President's Higher Education Community Service Honor Roll

Millsaps students and other local residents take part is 1C1C projects and events in 2009-2010.

The 1 Campus, 1 Community Center for Engaged Learning and Living (1C1C C.E.L.L.) helps Millsaps students, faculty, and staff develop long-term relationships of mutual respect, service, and transformation with our neighbors in need, especially those in the North Midtown and K-12 education communities. The Center maintains a database of community partners and needs, and staff members help connect interested volunteers to these constituencies and opportunities.
