Student Organizations

So You Want to Start a New Student Organization?

Interest Groups wishing to establish first-time recognition must complete the following procedures before they can begin to function as a student organization.

• Complete the New Student Organization Application
• Write a Constitution
• Find a full time Millsaps faculty or staff member to serve as your advisor
• Meet with the Director of Campus Activities upon completion of your materials
• Come before the SBA Student Senate for a vote of recognition
