Associate Director of Executive Education

Job Summary

The Associate Director of Executive Education will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering high-quality executive education programs, with a focus on curriculum development and online class delivery, recruitment, and enrollment. This role is crucial in contributing to the growth and success of the institution’s commitment to professional development.

The position works on-site in Jackson, Mississippi with regular office hours from 8:00am – 4:30pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Job Duties

In coordination with and in addition to any duties as assigned by the Dean of the Else School and the Director of Executive Education, the Associate Director shall:

  1. Program Development and Enhancement:
    • Collaborate with the Director of Executive Education to design and develop innovative executive education programs tailored to the needs of corporate clients and professionals identified by
    • Conduct curriculum review and development efforts, ensuring that program content is relevant, up-to- date, and aligned with industry standards.
    • In collaboration with Director, faculty, and staff colleagues, develops and maintain course materials for all programs.
    • Spearhead the development of online executive education courses, utilizing best practices in online learning and technology.
    • Work closely with instructional designers and technology specialists to create engaging and effective online learning experiences.
    • Implement and maintain quality assurance processes to continuously enhance the effectiveness of executive education programs.
    • Collect and analyze participant feedback to drive program and online course
    • Work with the Director and marketing team to create and implement effective strategies to promote

Executive Education programs, monitoring enrollment and recommending changes in efforts.

  1. Program Management:
    • Oversee and support administrative and operational program
    • Optimize processes and procedures to promote operational
    • Coordinate and communicate with internal and external faculty, clients, and enrollees for maximum customer centered experience.
    • With the Director of Executive Education, cultivates and maintains strong relationships with corporate partners, understanding their professional development needs.
  2. Faculty and Resource Management
    • In coordination with Director, recruit, train, and manage faculty and industry experts for both in-person and online program delivery.
    • Oversee the allocation and utilization of resources to ensure effective program
  3. Financial:
    • Assist in development of program budget
    • Monitor program finances and enrollment ensuring alignment with revenue

Qualifications

  • Preferred Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Strong project management and organizational
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with corporate

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 20 pounds without assistance
  • Manual dexterity needed for keyboarding and other repetitive tasks
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Significant walking and standing in a classroom setting
