Learn about scholarships for new students.
Beginning fall 2019 we have some exciting news about the Millsaps College application process!
Applicants will be admitted based on academic record, self-reported GPA, self-reported test scores, coursework taken, performance in coursework taken, performance on standardized tests, and high school attended. The applicant's biographical information, extracurricular activities, and essay along with a counselor and teacher recommendation will also be considered in the decision-making process. Self-reported data will be verified before enrollment and falsification could result in an adjustment to merit scholarship and/or void in admission decision.
All admitted students will be considered for merit-based scholarships; students who wish to be considered for need-based financial aid must submit the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Millsaps' FAFSA code is 002414.
Early Action is a non-binding admission option which allows first-year students to receive early notification of the Millsaps admission decision while not having to let the college know of your decision until May 1. Students accepted under the Early Action option are free to apply to other schools. Under Early Action, you must apply and submit all supporting documents by November 15. Admitted students will be notified no later than January 15. Admitted students may submit their enrollment deposit at any time until the Candidate's Reply Date of May 1.
