Apply to Millsaps College free through the Common Application or Millsaps’ own application. Millsaps is completely test-optional. You’ll need an official high school transcript. Letters of recommendation and a personal essay strengthen your application. Early Action (non-binding) and Regular Decision options are available for first-year students. Transfers are accepted on a rolling basis year-round.

No — Millsaps College is completely test-optional. SAT or ACT scores are not required. If you choose to submit scores, they will be considered alongside your other materials. There is also no application fee. International students may submit national exam results, IB, AP, SAT, or ACT scores.

Millsaps College accepts AP and IB credits. Policies are outlined in the Academic Catalog. Credit evaluations typically take about two weeks and are emailed directly to you. Credits are evaluated individually by the Registrar. Contact the Registrar’s office for specific course equivalencies before enrolling.

Yes — Millsaps does consider demonstrated interest as part of its holistic admissions review. Campus visits, attending information sessions, meeting with admissions counselors, and engaging with the admissions team all signal genuine interest in the college. Alumni and legacy relationships are also noted as consideration factors in the review process.

Submit official transcripts electronically through the Common App, Slate.org, SEND.edu, Parchment, Scoir, or Scribbles Software. Hard copies may be mailed directly from your school. Millsaps does not accept faxed transcripts. A final transcript confirming graduation is required before enrollment. Transfer students submit all official college transcripts.
