What is campus life like at Millsaps College?
Millsaps offers vibrant campus life on a 100-acre urban campus in Jackson, Mississippi. Over 50 student organizations, 12 Greek-letter organizations, and 18 NCAA Division III sports teams provide countless ways to get involved. 86% of students live on campus. The Pathways program connects academics to career exploration, and the 1C1C initiative engages students in Jackson community service.
What do students do on weekends at Millsaps College?
On weekends, Millsaps students enjoy Greek life events, student organization activities, intramural sports, and campus programming. Jackson offers restaurants, the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum, the Fondren arts district, and live music venues. New Orleans is approximately 3 hours away and Memphis is 2 hours away — both popular student weekend destinations. Campus Safety operates 24/7.

Millsaps has over 50 student organizations spanning academic, service, Greek, sports, arts, and faith categories. Organizations include Alpha Epsilon Delta (pre-health honor society), Student Body Association (SBA), and the 1C1C community engagement program. Greek life includes 12 international organizations.
