I currently serve as the Associate Dean of Records and Data Strategy at Millsaps College. In this role, I am a member of the President’s Cabinet, lead the Records & Registration Department, provide institutional research and reporting for the College, and serve as the College’s Chief Data Officer – providing data strategy related to data governance, inventory, privacy, standards, analytics and literacy.
I have 15+ years of experience in higher education and have worked at a variety of different types of institutions including: public, private non-profit, private for-profit, vocational, liberal arts, research, religious, minority-serving, institutions with multiple campuses and institutions within systems.
Immediately prior to my position at Millsaps, I served as the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Strategic Initiatives at the University of San Diego. In that role, I was responsible for institutional accreditation, academic program review, assessment, strategic initiative grant funding for the University’s strategic plan and monitoring progress toward strategic plan goals.
As a service to my profession, I currently serve as the 2024 President of the California Association for Institutional Research (CAIR), have prior service on the Executive Board of the Mississippi Association of College Registrars and Admissions Officers (MACRAO) and provide volunteer service to SACSCOC and WSCUC. I am a 2021 graduate of WSCUC’s Assessment Leadership Academy (ALA) and have presented at multiple conferences such as SACRAO, SCUP and AAC&U.
