Assistant Professor of Economics

I teach a variety of economic and financial subjects, including microeconomics, macroeconomics, international trade, corporate finance and banking. I see each course as a chance to prepare new cohorts of scholars and practitioners to interpret economic theory and critically assess its empirical relevance and application in a modern context. Besides teaching, I maintain an active research agenda, serve as a journal referee, and speak at academic conferences and business venues. My research uses theory and quantitative methods to explore the dynamic relationship between corporate and consumer financial markets, monetary policy and macroeconomic activity.
