Susan Womack

My relationship with Millsaps began in 1988 as Director of Annual Giving then Director of Donor Relations. In 2000, I left to lead a non-profit organization in public school advocacy and community engagement work. I returned to Millsaps in 2012 as Associate Vice President in the Institutional Advancement office where I help build and manage the infrastructure and systems for successful fundraising, stewardship, donor relations, advancement communications, and alumni and parent relations programs. Millsaps is a special place that allows faculty, staff and students to follow their passions. Because of that, I am also a leader of Millsaps’ Truth Racial Healing and Transformation Campus Center, which was formed in 2017. I love cheering for the Majors, attending arts and cultural events, and taking advantage of learning opportunities on campus. When I’m not at Millsaps, you can find me walking my standard poodle and Aussie shepherd mix, enjoying music, reading, or practicing yoga.
