Millsaps Advantage Scholarship
Millsaps College is breaking down barriers to elite education for the state’s brightest students with the launch of the Millsaps Advantage Scholarship, providing full tuition and fees to high-achieving students from across the state. The program is designed to open the door to a top-tier college education for Mississippi’s highest-achieving Pell-eligible students.
This program reflects our deep commitment to Mississippi’s future. We want the best and brightest students in our state to know that a world-class education at Millsaps is financially within reach, tuition-free. The Millsaps Advantage Scholarship opens doors, removes barriers and empowers students to lead, serve and succeed.
Details and Eligibility
- The Millsaps Advantage Scholarship is designed to celebrate and retain homegrown talent, encouraging students to pursue their education and future careers in Mississippi.
- Kicking off with the incoming class for the Fall of 2026.
- Includes full tuition and fees
- Eligibility:
- Minimum 3.5 GPA (7th semester transcripts will be considered for this requirement)
- 25 or higher ACT score (April is the last test date acceptable)
- Pell-eligible Mississippi students who apply to Millsaps
- Must meet all other Millsaps College admissions standards
- Students must accept the offer of admission and submit the enrollment deposit by May 15th.
- This applies to first-year, first-time students.
- Transfer students do not qualify. However, there are several opportunities for transfer students, including the TRANSERmation Scholarship, the PTK Scholarship and the Residence Hall Grant.
- Students are required to live on campus.
- The program is renewable after the first year for six concurrent semesters as long as the student:
- Meets all academic standards outlined in the college catalog
- There is no break in enrollment
- Applies and renews FAFSA every year
- Remains Pell eligible
- Maintains residency in the state of Mississippi
All qualified Mississippi students who apply and are accepted to Millsaps will automatically be considered for the scholarship.There is no other application necessary.
