I am a 2013 graduate of Millsaps College with a B.A. in history. Following my graduation, I stayed at Millsaps for one year as an intern in the Office of Student Life. I earned an M.S.Ed. in higher education from the University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in history from the University of Mississippi. In my faculty role, I teach courses in U.S. history, including both intro-level surveys that are particularly popular with first-year students. In my Student Life role, I advise and supervise our fraternities and sororities, working closely with chapter members and leaders to enhance engagement opportunities. As an undergraduate at Millsaps, I completed an honors thesis on Bob Dylan, and now as a faculty member, I teach a Connections course (for first-year students) on Bob Dylan in American life.
