Anthony Powe serves as the Assistant Director of Community Life at Millsaps College, where he supports student engagement, residential life, and the development of inclusive and connected campus communities. With a passion for student affairs and holistic student development, Anthony enjoys creating opportunities that help students feel a sense of belonging while encouraging personal growth, leadership, and meaningful connections.
Anthony holds a Master of Arts in Higher Education with a concentration in Student Affairs from Messiah University, a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a minor in Child and Family Sciences from The University of Southern Mississippi, and an Associate Degree from Meridian Community College.
Before joining Millsaps, Anthony gained professional experience in residence life and student affairs at institutions including The University of Texas at Dallas, Elon University, and Catawba College. His professional interests include residential education, student engagement, community building, leadership development, and creating intentional experiences that support students inside and outside the classroom.
