I am a Colombian pianist and educator with an active international presence.
Recent and upcoming projects include the world premiere of Juan Cardona’s Piano Concerto No. 1 under maestro Robert Moody in Colombia (2025), the U.S. premiere of the Cardona’s concerto with the Memphis Symphony Orchestra (March 2027), and selection as a featured performer at the CMS International Conference in Iceland (June 2027).
My strongest work is done in partnership with other artists. I have worked with the Hawaii Performing Arts Festival, Opera Memphis, the University of Mississippi, and the Memphis Symphony Chorus; and with musicians including Vincent Lucas (Orchestre de Paris), conductor Malcolm J. Merriweather (New York Philharmonic Chorus), and violist Amaro Dubois, with whom I recorded music by José Elizondo for Centaur Records.
Teaching, to me, is where all of this comes together. My work in the classroom centers on musical fundamentals and piano skills, connected to the artistic and professional world beyond it. I also serve as Director of Collaborative Piano at the Colchagua Vocal Institute in Chile, and I founded Prima Vista Lab®, an online program for sight-reading training.
Millsaps gives me a place to share both the knowledge and the joy of learning music.
