I serve as the Biology Lab Preparator at Millsaps College, where I support the teaching mission of the biology department by preparing laboratory materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe, organized, and efficient lab environment. With an academic background in biomedical sciences and forensic science, I bring a strong scientific foundation, hands-on lab experience, and a detail-oriented approach to every task. In addition to preparing labs, I assist with a wide range of departmental needs, including managing inventories, and supporting student workers.
My experience in scientific research and laboratory operations strengthens my ability to maintain accuracy, anticipate needs, and problem-solve quickly in a fast-paced academic setting. I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Mississippi Medical Center and a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Science from the University of Southern Mississippi.
