As Assistant Director of Student Engagement, I am passionate about helping students build meaningful connections, develop leadership skills, and create a sense of belonging on campus. I believe involvement outside the classroom is a vital part of the college experience and helps students grow personally, socially, and professionally.
A native of Clinton, Mississippi, I earned both my Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing with a minor in Sports Management and my Master of Education in Higher Education Student Affairs Administration from The University of Southern Mississippi. My professional experience includes student engagement, student organizations, fraternity and sorority life, and leadership development.
I am a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and am committed to serving my community through mentorship, leadership, and service. Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, reading, spending time with family and friends, participating in church activities, and caring for my dog.
My favorite scripture, John 14:27, reminds me to lead with peace, purpose, and compassion in all that I do.
