Isabelle Ezelle Higbee

As a graduate of Millsaps in 1978, it was always my desire to come back to work at the college that impacted me in so many ways. After stints in the travel industry, accounting, banking and state government, I came back to Millsaps in 2002 when an opportunity arose in the Office of Financial Aid. Starting as a financial aid counselor, I moved up over the years to become the director of financial aid in 2015. In 2023 I stepped down as the director but continued to work at Millsaps part time as a financial aid consultant as I move into semi-retirement. It has given me great pleasure to work with so many students over the last 21 years, helping them to fulfill their dreams of graduating from Millsaps. And as a former cheerleader, I’ll end by saying: Go Majors!
