Melinda Barrow

As the director of human resources, I help support Millsaps’ most valuable resource — our people, including faculty, staff and student employees. My team and I oversee payroll, benefits, recruiting and onboarding, performance management, employee development and employee relations. I am a results-driven innovator working to build efficiencies and inspire positive change. I’ve had a well-rounded human resources career, including experience in health care, investment banking, theme parks and hospitality. Working for large and small companies has given me a unique perspective on how to empower employees to be the best version of themselves and to work collaboratively to move an organization forward toward its goals.
