I earned my Ph.D. from the University of Memphis and made my way to Millsaps after teaching at Kenyon College in Ohio, the University of South Florida in Tampa, and Virginia Tech in Blacksburg. Millsaps feels like the perfect place to share my love of mathematics; whether that’s through teaching, research, or helping students discover that math is far more creative (and fun!) than they might expect. My research area is Analysis, especially Functional Analysis and Operator theory, and I enjoy bringing ideas from my work into the classroom. I am excited to teach a wide range of courses, including Calculus, Introduction to Statistics, Linear Algebra, and Real Analysis.
When I’m not doing math, you’ll probably find me outdoors hiking a new trail, in the kitchen testing out a new recipe, or in the gym. And if you ever want to talk math or anything else, my door is always open!
