As the instructional technology librarian, I am the primary administrator for the college’s learning management system, CourseConnect. I began my professional career at Millsaps in 2017 in the position of library assistant after graduating from this same institution. I later moved into my current role after obtaining my Master of Library and Information Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi. In my position, I host regular training sessions on topics related to the LMS, offer one-on-one support for our users in designing and participating in course activities, develop training guides and videos, and manage audio-visual equipment for the Millsaps-Wilson Library. My goal in this position is to provide support with a smile to our students, faculty and staff members in whatever capacity they need. In my spare time, you can find me crafting, crocheting and relaxing with my two cats.
