Currently I am an associate professor in the Biology Department, where I teach courses focused on the relationship between structure and function, including Anatomy and Physiology, Developmental Biology and Reproductive Biology. I also serve as the director of the Self-Designed Major program and the co-coordinator of the Health Pathway for the Pathways program. In my role as the director of Self-Designed Majors, I help students to determine if a self-designed major is the best fit for their career aspirations. If the self-designed major is the best option, I help students identify appropriate faculty sponsors and facilitate the application process. As a co-coordinator of the Health track for the Pathways program, I facilitate cohort building opportunities for members of the pathway and provide resources to help students identify traditional and nontraditional health-related careers.
