As part of an effort to make higher education more accessible and to support students in achieving their academic goals, Millsaps College and the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges recently signed an agreement simplifying the transfer process for students who wish to further their education after completing their studies at one of the state’s two-year institutions.
This partnership underscores Millsaps College’s commitment to expanding access to its transformative educational experience and ensuring a seamless transition for students.
“We’re thrilled to partner with the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges to create clearer and more accessible pathways for students who wish to continue their academic journey at Millsaps,” said Frank Neville, president of Millsaps College. “This agreement allows more students to benefit from the world-class education that Millsaps offers and helps them more quickly achieve their personal and professional goals.”
Under this agreement, students who complete their community college studies and meet the established admission criteria can transfer up to 64 credit hours to Millsaps, facilitating their path toward earning a degree.
A comprehensive transfer and course equivalency guide has been developed to help students understand how their coursework will apply to Millsaps’ curriculum.
