Politics & Religion

Discussing religion & politics

They say one shouldn’t discuss religion and politics. Well, we’re breaking that rule. Religion and politics is an interdisciplinary major between the Government and Politics Department and the Religious Studies Department. The major proceeds under the assumption that one’s religion shapes political beliefs and one’s political beliefs shape our religion. This major gives students greater insight into the dynamics between politics and religion and enhances their ability to assess the impact they have on one another.
