Pre-Law
Millsaps makes a strong case
Our distinctive strengths
- 95% of our 2022-2023 class were accepted to one or more law schools. Students had an average of 2.75 schools accepting their applications.
- The Pre-Law Association hosts an annual law school forum, one of the largest in the Southeast, regularly attended by 15–20 law school recruiters from across the country.
- Many pre-law students participate in the Millsaps Mock Trial Team, which has grown to be one of the largest programs in the Southeast. From its own historic mock trial courtroom on campus, the Mock Trial Team begins each season in August and competes through the spring semester. The team has won a bid to the opening rounds of the American Mock Trial Association national competition as well as numerous honors such as best attorney awards, best witness awards and top rankings in regional competitions.
