Our distinctive strengths

The UX major cultivates skills that support interactions between users and digital products and services. The design process seeks to optimize the user experience for a broad spectrum of user abilities. Designers use graphic design skills to create aesthetic visual interfaces but must also be able to empathize with user needs and meet their client’s service and product goals. Millsaps UX Design majors must be able to integrate graphic design, business and psychological concepts with communication skills to build successful user interfaces. This program includes online courses as part of the curriculum through our partnership with Rize. These offer students cutting-edge curriculum, greater scheduling flexibility, access to nationwide experts in the field and access to even more resume-ready skills.
