FINC 3000 Principles of Corporate Finance
This course introduces concepts on capital investment, capital structure, working capital management and financing. We also examine bond and stock valuation along with the role of global financial markets, including regulatory aspects.
MGMT 4900 Business Strategy
Take a searching look at the major components of strategy from an upper-level management perspective. Use case studies and learning laboratories to integrate the knowledge and skills learned.

Our distinctive strengths

The business administration major at Millsaps is designed to help you grow in practical understanding of the skills of business, which include management, marketing and finance. You will collaborate with other students, faculty and industry professionals to develop skills for real-life situations.
  • All Else School of Management at Millsaps College major programs are accredited by AACSB International.
  • An MBA degree may be completed in one year beyond the bachelor’s degree. This program is for students who have completed the BBA program at Millsaps or at any other AACSB International accredited institution, as well as for non-business students who complete the Major Plus program.

Pathways

Our curriculum emphasizes problem solving and critical thinking skills essential to any career (and therefore any Pathway), as well as scientific writing and experimentation skills that may be especially critical to students interested in any of our six Pathways tracks.

Study Abroad

Summer and intersession courses are offered on a regular basis. Recent courses have been held in Europe and the Yucatán.
