About Millsaps

Millsaps College is a selective institution of higher education located on 100 beautiful acres in the heart of Jackson, the capital of Mississippi — a progressive Southern metropolitan city of nearly half a million. Millsaps is dedicated to academic excellence, open inquiry and free expression, the exploration of faith to inform vocation, and the innovative shaping of the social, economic and cultural progress of the region. The college was founded in 1890 by members of the Methodist Church and is consistently ranked as one of the best values in higher education.

Millsaps is a member of the ACS and has an AACSB accredited business school, and an NCATE accredited education program. Millsaps is located in Jackson, the capital of the state. Campus Conduct Reporting

We are committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards at Millsaps. If you experience or observe something you believe is inappropriate, please use the Campus Conduct Hotline to report it. Holiday & Academic Calendars

TimeClock Plus

TimeClock Plus is used to track paid time off for all eligible staff members, for all nonexempt employees to clock hours, and for managers to review and approve clocked hours and requests for paid time off.

Procedures
Nonexempt hourly employees are required to have a record of hours worked in order for the college to be in compliance with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA). Nonexempt employees include all employees who are eligible for overtime or compensatory time pursuant to the FLSA.

Payroll

Major Portal

Employee paystubs and W2s are available through Major Portal.

Direct Deposit

Employees wishing to change their direct deposit should contact Human Resources. All direct deposit forms must be returned in person to the Human Resources office in AC 105. Updates to direct deposit must be received at least five business days prior to the pay date to be processed for the upcoming payroll.

Tax Information

Any employee who would like to change their tax settings may do so at any time by completing updated copies of the Mississippi State Tax Withholding Form or the federal W-4 form. Completed forms should be returned to Human Resources in AC 105.

Payroll Deductions for the Millsaps Annual Fund

We love Millsaps! If you love Millsaps too and would like to give back to the college, you are welcome to do so through payroll deduction for the Millsaps Annual Fund. Annual Fund gifts are essential to the college and directly impact students. These contributions are put to use immediately in the areas that need support the most.
